Unable to remove furniture piece

Hi everyone,

I’ve just submitted a ticket,

Just 2 days ago i’ve added a “large rug” floor close to the other furniture pieces that I’ve worked hard on.

Today I decided to remove that rug flooring to try another one but it’s not letting me as I am getting the message “unable to remove due to being bound by other furniture pieces” something like that & when I do move out of the way it automatically glues in my other furnitures & drags them along.

I’ve tried disable counter top table & nothing.

Any ideas or wait to hear from ticket GM?

I’ve worked hard to position my furnitures & it took me awhile & just would devastate me if i have to do so all over again which I am adamant.

I would disable the setting to have things stick to the top, select the far-left moving tool button (the 4 arrows button), click on what piece is stuck to it. It will appear to move off the rug to another area. Just hit Escape which will free it from the rug and put it back in place. Then select your rug, move it to another area that is cleared out enough and place the rug. Then switch to moving it to your inventory or storage.

well you'd have to move the items that are on the rug off first, then you can remove the rug.

I tried your method similarly on my Ps4 & it worked!!!

Sounds to me like there's a table top item somewhere above the rug that you need to move somewhere else before you can remove the rug
