Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

We apologize for any inconvenience experienced when trying to play Final Fantasy XIV. For us to better assist you, please respond with the following information:

    Error messages received:
    Wired or WIFI connection?
    When the issue occurs/How often?
Does this only happen to one character or all characters?
All steps taken to resolve the issue:
Under the graphics settings in-game is [NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti] selected?

    Thanks for responding, Thukoolo.

    Wired or WIFI connection?
    -WIFI

    When the issue occurs/How often?
-It happens during the entirety of a gaming session. I have noticed that around more players, the worse the drops are.

Does this only happen to one character or all characters?
-I only have one character so far, so only one.

All steps taken to resolve the issue:
-I'm not sure if this one is a question or not, but I'll add the steps I took:
-Turning all display and graphical settings to their lowest has no effect
-Switching from Fullscreen to either of the two options actually made the FPS drop further and stay consistently around 10-11 with stutters and highs of 15.
-I deleted and reinstalled the game twice and have seen no change, though at first, for a few minutes upon starting from a fresh install, FPS seems stable, but the problem returns at the same level of inconsistent drops.

Under the graphics settings in-game is [NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti] selected?
-Unfortunately, I'm not sure if this is selected. My subscription ended since first posting this question. Is there any way to check settings without logging in?
