No FC is perfect pf course, and neither can you guarantee yourself from social settings to be,

Instead of reacting, it’s best to also look at avenues to still apply these civil rules & also instead of further fueling the fire, keep & walk away from it.

In a similar note I am with OP, then again since FC’s are independently run it is ultimately the responsibility how it’ll operate.

PS: Rare I see FCs that recruits anyone universally without the emphasis “LGBTQ/Spanish/Asian/Weeb/whatever” & just say casually friendly, welcoming & show the FCs real motto as opposed to apply a specific community which otherwise may seem exclusive from others imo.

Have everyone all the same be inclusive, particularly those that don’t agree with the same ideology or perhaps have another community be in it as well,

The issue I have with these type of community settings (not just LGBTQ but other’s) it creates a division amongst the rest of other people,

In irl we have that problem ongoing. Just because I am hispanic therefore I will say to have an all inclusive hispanis/spanish community reinforced when in truth the message that’s displaying its separating the “ Us with them/rest”.

I beyond disagree with the entirety of it,

We’ll always come around bad apples in the world, and thats part of growing & also valuing those that values you likewise without incriminating or otherwise.

In truth, I rather have an FC where everyone are just themselves from a variety of backgrounds without the constant emphasis of “Community this, that, etc., & just be a regular FC within civility, etiquette, and tackle anyone being discriminatory regardless.

I don’t truly care if an FC member is an LGBTQ, European/Caucasian, Weeb, Cop, Artist or whatever, I just see the individual as it is.

I stay away from groups that advertise themselves as prominently LGBTQ+ friendly. Mostly because every single alphabet group I've ever attempted to join has been full of catty, attention-seeking drama queens. And I'd rather be in a chill FC that barely talks to one another while maintaining buff upkeep than subject myself to THAT.

With all this being said, it almost seems redundant to advertise "LGBTQ+ friendly" in a game where you must tolerate it both on and off the game, seeing as how guilds that aren't friendly would be punished.

Yes, how else would we know you are self-righteous or morally good? These are the same people who want to tell you they are vegan and better than you because they are vegan. Also, Square Enix has no right to ban your account if you are speaking off their platform. This is an actual infringement of your rights as your speech in the public sphere is none of their business, even if you are distributing add-ons etc. Trying to social Engineer a population when off your game by holding a sword of Damocles above their head is an abomination, and they should be sued over this if it happens.
