With all this being said, it almost seems redundant to advertise "LGBTQ+ friendly" in a game where you must tolerate it both on and off the game, seeing as how guilds that aren't friendly would be punished.

Yes, how else would we know you are self-righteous or morally good? These are the same people who want to tell you they are vegan and better than you because they are vegan. Also, Square Enix has no right to ban your account if you are speaking off their platform. This is an actual infringement of your rights as your speech in the public sphere is none of their business, even if you are distributing add-ons etc. Trying to social Engineer a population when off your game by holding a sword of Damocles above their head is an abomination, and they should be sued over this if it happens.
