It's been 34 days since 6.1 and SAM still feels like garbage to play

I actually did the same thing - didn't touch it since patch day until last weekend, and yep, still felt bad (although, for me, not AS bad as it did on patch day).

For me, the shock of all the big numbers getting cut in half has largely passed, but not having Kaiten or any kenki management whatsoever and all the Shinten spam still feels terrible.

I've been looking for a new job to main since 6.1 dropped and none of them even come close to 6.08 samurai - even if its diminished state, 6.1 samurai might still be more satisfying than the other dps options given my preferences, which is depressing.

I agree. Ninja is the job I ended up landing on but it certainly requires the most effort of any DPS job I've ever played to be truly effective but by god is it satisfying haha.

Still, I'd drop it in a heart beat if we got SAM back to the way it was in 6.08
