Horrid Roar only reduces the damage you deal to the DRG itself, and it exists to counterbalance Life of the Dragon.
DRG spends 10 out of every 20 seconds taking 25% extra damage from anyone who didn't get hit by Roar.
Roar's range is only 10y. Stop hugging your teammates.

Except you can just not use Life of the Dragon still do tons of damage (25k burst that btw a better single target Ogi+Namikiri) and receive 50% damage reduced, I'll just watch my caster getting his ass beat
while the DRG is in the backline or maybe should I switch classes midgame? Even then you still get 25% damage reduction for nothing, literally doing damage off GCD
bound to nothing but range for 10 seconds uptime, no brain actvity just mashing buttons.
