    No more damage buffs pls

    Can't even survive as a warrior as it is. Can we stop with the dps buffs? If nothing else, I wish they would buff warrior and Tank survivability.

    Or just survivability in general.

    Reduce the power or potions and make them cost more mana to use.

    I just want to be able to fight longer without having to run for cover and mash on potions all at once just to still die to focused burst.

    And fix purify.

    Pls. It doesn't work sometimes when I try to use it against silence I swear.

    Are you trying to say make recuperate more mana to use? Potions don’t cost any mana to begin with

    If they buffed tank survivability they’d have to nerf tank damage, and probably healer damage too. Ironically, nerfing damage that way in itself would go a long way to make tanks less squishy, since part of the reason tanks aren’t really that tanky in PvP is because every role does fat damage. WAR has 20-28k burst on demand with one weaponskill and 3 ogcds (one of which is your gap closer), 23-33k with two weaponskills. Under LB it’s 36-44k with one weaponskill, 48-56k with two.

    The tradeoff for (even as a tank) having the ability to chunk an enemy player for 50-90% of their health at any given point with Rend CC being part of the burst, is that the same thing can happen to you. That strong burst you have (and what most jobs in current pvp have) is also what makes you so squishy - the enemy WAR can just splat you the same way as soon as they see you’re CCed and being attacked by even one other player.

    I don’t know how viable this is though, since this kind of moves away from the entire design philosophy they have in CC right now to begin with.

    Latest round of changes has dissolved a lot of my confidence in the PvP team. Buffs for GNB and DNC are good, the sleep for BLM are good. The rest... Extremely mixed feelings.

    Worry they have the infantile mentality of "Well we don|t want to nerf things, so let`s buff everyone else up to meet our numerical goals", which works a lot better for PvE than PvP. In PvP they are just creating a balance arms race. I worry it will be like Feast where a year from now they find they have to keep ballooning HP pools and defensives. Rather they have just cut down some of the outliers... Been parts people hate about PvP since release that haven`t been addressed, and when a job like WHM is changed, it`s not the parts people had the most issue with.

    This all feels strange because like... This was a spontaneous collection of changes ahead of the 6.15 patch. Feel like something reserved for addressing emergencies or egregious issues. Instead they honestly just made things worse.

    I'm kind of amazed there was a hotfix patch that contained almost nothing but PvP changes and fixes. Or was there some work on the lottery system in this patch too?

    I agree that this patch, in particular, has really hurt my confidence in the "PvP team" and their ability to handle this new mode and version of the system. TTK is already extremely low in the new system, and increasing potency for skills will make it even lower. They should honestly be looking into *decreasing* potency in many cases, or just leaving things the fuck alone. It's *okay* for a class to go untouched for several patches - if it's balanced, it doesn't *need* any changes.
