excuse me? At the time when the housing trouble started I froze then checked the forums. Forums said to keep the money in the entry and I did. My gil is still in the housing ..... should I take it out now? then not put it back in during patch 6.2? is this the advice?

Simple. Doing so would trigger a reaction of "I should have won but now I don't have the money and SE takes away what should have been mine"

Be honest with yourself, people who had the money at the time they put a deposit down would have found ways to make back that money even if they never accepted the refund. Those that don't are the smallest minority.

I was thinking you'd probably have to to be able to actually get the plot you won but if not that's both hilarious and also crappy for the people who DIDN'T take the refund.
