My long-standing gripes with MCH and physical ranged in general

You forget that DNC's DP isn't accounted for in rDPS, so no, DNC does provide a higher raid boost than MCH does at the moment and BRD is more desirable because of its ability to buff and also cleanse/help heal tanks after TBs. MCH just offers damage and not much of it.

Also out of the 35 unique teams that have cleared DRS, some of which have even reprogged and recleared there is not a single MCH clear. Nobody wants to play it in endgame raids unless it's week 1000 meme reclears. The job isn't picked for early prog because DNC/BRD are just better and provide more utility skills.

I already said yeah MCH falls behind in bleeding-edge (by a marginal amount), and yeah they should be minorly compensated for that, but your suggestions basically amount to "make MCH the best job in the game please" which is patently unreasonable. Even with compensation, if it ever eclipses BRD rDPS non-insignificantly then BRD will be in the same trash spot, like it was in SHB. Also Standard Step and Devilment are counted in rDPS lol.

I agree with you 100%, now I'm not a level cap yet, nor have I raided outside of the ones in the Crystal Tower saga (LOL.) but I've noticed the resentment already from people, mentioning things need to die faster, then everyone emotes at me, or they make use of passive-aggressive statements.

It's sad people think you want us to be in the META, when from what I can see. You want us to be on a competitive level with other DPS picks, and simple buffs to improve the job's output so our dps isn't so terribly low.

Yeah no, you're misconstruing the original post and that's a YOU problem. MCH is objectively the worst DPS job in the game as of right now and anybody who ACTUALLY raids knows it. a potency buff just puts it in the running to actually be desirable.

I assure you I'm not misconstruing "give MCH trick attack" or "give MCH the best LB" or "massively buff MCH ppm". It's the worst DPS in its role (the only comparison SE cares about) by a very slim margin. As an "actual raider" I am able to recognize that MCH is entirely playable, and that unless you're world first racing or speed killing then you should just play what you enjoy and ignore whatever the meta is. You identified some legitimate design concerns, but then diluted it with a diatribe of semi-baseless balance ranting.

And it's honestly concerning how much time you've spent in my thread just trying to make it clear just how much you don't want to see MCH buffed even when you don't play it a single bit, you really just prove the point I made IN the original post about how mains of other jobs bitch and moan whenever other jobs want and/or get buffs. Maybe you should get a hobby or touch some grass. Perhaps clear the current tier before trying to come into the thread and act like you know anything about the current state of MCH in endgame content when you haven't even gotten your feet wet in it. I agree for the most part, except for the part bout MCH's kit. We are having this issue because the MCH's kit is trash, their numbers are trash too. Hence why I can understand nobody wants one in their party.

The kit is fine if you've got the ping for it, which many don't and that's the biggest issue tbh. But if they were to address the ping dependency the kit would honestly be fine with just a good MEANINGFUL set of potency buffs across the board.

Also I'm not impressed with the declaration of TEA prog by someone who's hiding on private. Come back when you actually clear and maybe I'll care. Until then I have no reason to believe you've ever even cleared a Savage tier while it was current, let alone have the understanding of this current tier or the current Ultimate and the horrendous situation MCH is in within both, especially considering your MCH is at level 82.
