By that logic, that really hot girl that walked down the street was harassed and attacked for what she was wearing because it was a semi revealing outfit. So I guess because she was wearing a short skirt and was walking by herself at night she was kinda asking for the harassment.

It would be more like bringing a cell phone into court when there are signs posted not to, and the lady at the front specifically asks if you have your cell phone and you say no, and once inside and seated you pull it out and then get in trouble for having it. You know the rules, you know you’re breaking them (which is bad enough), but why be so moronic as to display in full view how you’re breaking said rule?

Okay. Fair point to a degree. Maybe my original analogy is somewhat off.

Lets not discount the edgelord's on a witch hunt looking for people who are just parsing and mass reporting to Square Enix for their own self appreciation isn't a form of harassment? Like them or hate them, they aren't giving anyone an advantage or a hacking/cheating program. I don't use and 3rd party tools myself but I don't have anything against people using them for their own self improvement or for situational awareness.

I'm just put off that a bunch of MMO Karen's on a Witch hunt using Square Enix as an ion cannon to shut down people using parsers. And Square Enix is basically letting them be used in this fashion of mass reporting by a bunch of shitty Zerg-rush assholes who literally fish around FFXIV streams all day because they're losers with no life and nothing better to do.

Do they all go on the same Discord channel and give themselves firm handshakes and pats on the back for jobs well done for their mass reporting?
