It seems the crystals are reacting with dalamud..

that what me and my linkshell are thinking most of our linkshell member saw them everywhere from LL to the other two city.

Also that red crystal been in the dats for sometime now i think sense the 1 or 2# patch that the live event was starting.

@Malakii i agree i just saw it 3 last pic from the pdf maybe 2# stage = eorzea people finding way to chain them down so they don't leave and get used as energy for Dalamud o.o i can't wait and see what going to happen next yoshi-p did say something is going to happen soon maybe this is the start of it.

I wonder why no one else been seeing this tho i thought someone would have took a screenshot and start talking about it o.o pretty happy my linkshell member to a screenshot of it to show you guys.

When did this happen? Do they remain red or just for a limited time? Something so minor can have a huge impact on our anticipation of the coming of Dalamud. Im so glad I get to experience this as it happens.

seem to be a limit time only like most of Dalamud events.

So I'm curious.. is Dalmund actually going to hit us, or is it going to be interrupted somewhere like mid-way and just hang omniously overhead as a constant reminder of what could've been our complete annihilation?

Because if the crystals are being pulled out of the ground towards Dalmund, then to go along with the concept art, if that's something to be expected during 2.0 why would it continue to be lifted if it isnt being pulled? Unless that concept art was only a preview of something to be witnessed during the events leading up to.

Still, rather cool, I dont hang around camps much anymore but will have to start keeping an eye out.

I think dalamud, at a certain point, will attract all the aetherithe crystals and ruins to it. So, some underground ruins and areas will go out from the earth.. reforming the actual Eorzea in the new one (with the new redesigned areas).

Before this most recent patch, some people would talk about the normal moon turning red as well.

But it's still not clear if this was a graphical glitch or not.

I am almost certain that the old Lambs of Dalamud / Garlaen Invasion bits no longer occur.

Also, if Dalamud really is attracting Aetheryte Crystals than that explains how the Crystal Tower will rise out of Silvertear Falls, eh?

I would have to agree with Dalmund having a pull on the crystals. After reading all the new lore from the monk quest the crystal tower that were going to be getting is actually a underground tomb.

Silvertear Falls
The aether of the area is in an extremely chaotic state. I had long thought this to be a result of the Battle of Silvertear Skies, but have learned that this is not the case! The disturbances I have observed do not all derive from a single source. Beyond the imperceptible aether emitted by the Keeper of the Lake, there are even stronger aetherial waves coming from deep below the earth to the east.

I have studied these waves in great detail, and discovered that they can be used to reconstruct an image of their source. And I believe their source is a tower! An enormous, vast, gigantic, underground tower! Do you not see? <sigh> Of course you don't... It could only be the lost tomb of Xandes─the first emperor of Allag of whom I spoke mere moments ago. But wait, there it more to tell! You see, it is impossible that a normal building, however large, could release so much ethereal energy. An immense crystal on the other hand─that most certainly could. Putting these observations together, I had no choice but to conclude that the ancients' seemingly fanciful references to the tomb being wrought of crystal were not so fanciful after all!
