Correct, you'd only get it on characters you made on a New or Preferred server, on a datacenter where you did not get the gil bonus before, on Oceania there is currently one.

So, let's say that I got my 1 million in Sephirot server which I did. That means even I had created another new character in the same server I wouldn't get the 1 million because I already got it already in my other character?
