I'm sure having 24 man instances and 4 man instances in the same pool is going to end well.

Well this would definitely prevent getting circus tower in alliance roulette, that's for sure.
Actually got Sircus Tower today and noticed they changed the markers on the last boss to match the standardized stack marker they used later. So at least baby steps are being made to update this old content lol. That could work, but considering how old those raids are, it might actually be easier to just redo the fights like they did with Castrum, Prae, and Ultimate Weapon. They definitely can't throw them in the main story roulette, as the OP suggests. Especially after they finally fixed it in a way that most players seem to be ok with. There are also mechanics in those raids that are severely outdated; such as players losing control of their characters in fights like Scylla and Amon. Lastly, as you suggested, they sync the ilv so the mechanics remain relevant. Xande, and Cloud of Darkness in particular should not be pushovers like they are now. These beings lore wise, are some of the most powerful the WoL has faced.
This would undoubtedly lengthen the time to get through the CT raids, but oh well. It also keeps players from naked queuing into it.
People would just cheese the next alliance raid.
Obligatory "look at how they massacred my boy" here, Glasya was my fave boss in ST and now we never see the bouncy castle part
On topic otherwise, I'd like to not run CT Roulette and actually get something else while I'm leveling alt jobs so I can actually learn rotations past lv50. I'd be down with this so it's not just "will we see Livia, Gaius, or the Ultima Weapon today?" and have a little more in there, or at least make it less annoying to get something other than ST or WoD constantly.
Most often it’s CT or Void Ark.
It would also need to take into account the job level queued as because a level 50 does not have access to gear with the proper ilvl for the Mhachi raids. That's adding a lot of complexity which tends to be risky but it's also hard to explain. How are do you propose to inform the player they're not getting the full payout? We're already being spammed with enough warnings that I just dismiss them without reading on the assumption it's something I've read before.Another solution would be to make the rewards scale towards the ilvl of gear you enter with, vs the lvl of the msq (avoids a lvl 70 that is still in HW to be punished severely). Stripping down would on that just negate any bonus and it becomes more rewarding to just go with the best gear you have. But again, this is already more work than just placing an ilvl restriction on the raids
That still doesn't solve the problem that running the other raids is not attractive enough for whatever reason. Personally I just don't run the a-raid roulette unless my friends want company and most of them haven't logged in in months.
It's frustrating that I only get ct but putting it into the msq roulette makes zero sense. No, they must find an alternate solution.
I haven't seen a single LotA or ST since I'm back from my break, which was a month ago. I got a lot of Nier lately.
Does it mean we have less sprouts and refugees? Or I am just insanely lucky?
I don't think sticking three 24-man alliance raids into the 4-man MSQ roulette queue will solve the problem as people will just find ways to cheese that. The solution is to rebalance Crystal Tower, and even the Heavensward alliance raids to an extent, so they take as long as Ivalice and newer raids do. Since Endwalker has released, the 50/60 alliance raids are easily twice as fast as the other alliance raids which is why people are abusing the system so much.
