Wise to the World/Eureka Moment

If you have the stats it is, as stated above, an inferior rotation.

I am not quite fully melded in the iL 560 gear and using HQ Crab Cakes I have:

Gathering 3315, perception 3407, and 970 GPs < the important part.

PG II, NT, BlH2, BouH 2, gather 5 times, BouH II, last gather. Add it up.

In my gear with Yakow Moussaka I have Gathering 3681, perception 3668, and 956 GP.

Using 3 Ageless Words/Solid Reason I get 9-12 gathers, depending on whether Wise to the World procs.
Each gather gives 4-5 items (average 4.7) so I get 36 to 60 items, average about 50.

The +3 yield location proc on the L90 Legendary nodes changes the optimal rotation.

Shadygrove (and most other players) won't be getting the +3 yield though because their Gathering isn't high enough. I suspect Shadygrove isn't even getting +2 - that required something like 3440 if I remember correctly.

This is part of why I dislike the random sharing of rotations/macros within the community. So much depends on what stats the player has. Too many don't understand what is optimal for them specifically will not be the same as what is optimal for another player with different stats.
