FC creation shouldn't be stopped, but they need to stop catering so god damn much to FC housing when there aren't even enough FCs in each server to actually FILL those houses.
Not certain what's going on in your life that's made you so defensive but I hope things are better for you soon. The post said "ALL THE PLAYERS THAT HAD BEEN ADVOCATING FOR THE LOTTERY SOLUTION". The time frame given gave no indication that it was anything other than inclusive of all posts written over the last 3 years. Therefore as written, yes, that would have included me. If Jojoya had not meant to include posters like me, then Jojoya should have picked words more carefully. I see in a later post that Jojoya did get more specific about which posters that were meant.

I think people have a right to challenge false accusations. I was simply pointing out that your original post was too vague and as written, would have included everyone who was an advocate for the Lottery system. If you wanted to be more specific without making broad-based accusations, you should have said something to the effect: "many of the players who started asking for a lottery system 3 years ago, had also claimed that it would be easy to implement". The onus is on you to be more accurate with your claims. By not doing so, you are taking pot-shots at everyone who is an advocate for the Lottery system, whether you meant it or not. You can also leave out the back-handed personal attack. It is unwarranted and contributes nothing to this discussion.

Maybe my memory is incomplete, but in all the numerous threads I can recall, I don't think the difficulty of implementation ever came up as a discussion point. Maybe my recollection is faulty though.
So, my personal view is their actual premise on "everybody said it would be easy" is completely wrong. "Many" players didn't say it either, and in fact I'd go further and even posit that not even "a few" players said it. In my mind, it's more likely that "nobody" said it because we didn't care about the difficulty of it.
Lottery (like balconies in apartments) was a common suggestion, and the arguments against it were quite often similar. The argument that always prevailed in the threads - to my memory - was it was an idea that wouldn't solve anything and the only true solution was for SE to make housing better. That any suggestion like lottery was just a bandaid to a broken system.
I didn't accuse you of anything.
If you go back through those old discussions, you will find many proponents claiming a lottery would be easy. It wasn't a claim that every proponent stated but then none of the proponents ever pointed out the potential difficulties either. That leaves the impression they felt it would be easy and nothing more needed to be said.
I and a few others had brought up the possible difficulties in implementation in some of the discussions. Once SE announced they were going to switch to a lottery, I stopped because I figured that they were satisfied they had resolved any potential problems.
Eraden wouldn't have been involved in any of these discussions because Eraden was not a member of the forums at the time

Blah, blah, blah... just tell me exactly what day/date/time I can place a bid on a house again. So... WHEN?!!!
I don't need lengthy mea culpas or technical details as to why this already awful lottery system failed. Is that so bloody hard?

8am PST on Thursday.

According to the update I believe the following is true relative to the next lottery cycle.
The next lottery cycle will begin promptly at 00:00 JST on Friday, May 27 (15:00 GMT on Thursday, May 26), at which point you will lose the ability to claim land you won during this lottery. We will announce this deadline again as it grows closer, so please do not forget to claim your land.
