I played SWTOR, they'd maybe have one content update a year and they didn't update PvP beyond huttball for several.

Yep, I stopped playing swtor after 5.0 and the great "thrill of the hunt" rng garbage.

We have a 24 man with a weekly lockout you'll maybe spam for glamour, a single EX fight and several story/side quests which are all primarily one and done. Tataru's grand adventure could be the best questline made. It's still a finite piece of content that won't last more than an hour or two. Even at a gradual pace, you'll have 2-3 weeks of content and then... nothing else for the remaining three months.
And? Its still content, and a hell of a lot more than pretty much any other MMO out there. Its not the devs faults MMO players consume content at a stupid pace. You're expecting way too much from developers. Its amazing they can even do as much as they do in a 4 month time table.
