Funnily enough, my entry for the weapon design contest (AST) was based on Rinoa's weapon "Shooting Star." It sadly didn't make it :'(
I really wish SE would somehow design weapons based on previous FF games every now and then.

There is one with the same name, Hyperion (also my server's name lol) but it's very different from Seifer's so they might have to name it "Seifer's Hyperion" or something if they ever want to add it.

TC is looking for cosmetic options for FF VIII.

While the Eden raids had music from FF VIII and some light inspiration from the plot, it wasn't really a 'final fantasy VIII crossover event' like what they're asking for.

No, not on the capacity that 12, or 15 received.
They ignored the potential for ff8 themed outfits, weapons, maps designs, characters- aside from Eden herself, and the dungeon boss Quetzalcoatl - there's a lot of missed opportunity and mostly just some light nods here and there.
How cool would it have been if they recreated the sorceress parade where the assassination attempt takes place and you fight on the parade float? That woulda been a cool fight to see done in xiv!

We dont even have Squall's gunblade stance, instead we get a hunched squat? But we get clouds animations for dark? oh okay. favoritism not obvious.

considering that female characters get overshadowed more often than male ones, i agree give squall and seifer's stuff- but need more for both, in general.
