I honestly think they should take one page from WoW's book and throw you into a mandatory learning instance when you boost. Explain the job mechanics and have a little instanced battle with checkpoints showing basic combos, keeping buffs and such maybe even a basic opener/rotation. I think that would help somewhat.

thats essentially what these halls are for teaching you about your jobs nuances/tricks and not just overall roles (not to say we wouldn't have advanced and expert halls for overall roles as well but) i feel like giving out a rotation/opener is pushing it as that should be figured out on your own cause even some openers are fight reliant and rotations can be affected by fights as well but if they already know the more tricky/nuanced parts of their kit it will help them greatly in figuring out the order to do things
