There are a number of members who are causal players in my free company.
They want to stop their subscriptions for a moment as they already finished the story and quests but fail to do so just because none of us know who may be the winner of lottery…

It’s so despairing to have nothing confirmed and keep waiting. Really disappointing to this situation. Housing shall be an enjoying content of the game but it brings more pain indeed.

I doubt they speak or understand English. And even more doubtful is that they sit there and someone translates all our concerns to them lol

Other then the occasional problem that may be passed along by mods.
To truly believe the devs of ffxiv read or concern themselves with any forum other then the JP one? not a chance.

Most of them have a decent grasp comprehending English if not better. It's a common course in JP school systems. Trying to respond in English would be a lot more difficult.

You can create a lot of trouble for yourself assuming that someone from another part of the world who speaks a different primary language can't understand what you're saying.

It's true the developers aren't spending all their time reading the forums for feedback but they have been known to take a peek occasionally.

Regardless, current claim period ends on the 29th according to the placards on the still empty plots in Empyreum. They need to make some sort of announcement and do something before then unless the lottery is truly suspended in the server systems and the date displayed only as placeholder.

It's been asked on the JP side too. 21 likes, so that puts it quite high in the grand scheme of things.

Taunting? Thousands people in limbo and they release warning over emotes in PvP? you fr bruh? Sure as hell they don't read english forums, so they can read on japanese one, in english. If you think I have some sort of social anxiety and care about what others think of me on a videogame forum, you're sadly mistaken. I don't, at all. They cannot ban you on here from the game for being UNpolite, this isn't in-game environment where fake niceties are on daily menu. And yes, time for politeness, if you excuse me, has long sailed past. Voicing discontent is not taunting. It is just that - voicing (severe) discontent. Mixed with healthy amount of sarcasm, pinch of cynicism and voila - there goes! Also, entirety of my outrage is on behalf of my friends who got screwed by SE and haven't heard any update in nearly a week, with a real prospect of this catastrophic, game-breaking failure dragging well through to second half of May. I have no idea how I managed to claim 2 mansions on 2 worlds, but I was ecstatic. We were ready to throw a celebration even on discord when the lottery was drawing to an end with the FC and friends from treasuremap linkshell, coz we were working hard for weeks to save up, running several hours daily.
