    I kind of think it's dumb that players can't pick up a potion if they're at full health meaning you can be fighting someone and controlling a point even in your own territory and all they have to do is slap on guard and slowly move past you and pop up to full health. Maybe make it like the fire orbs where you have to sit on it for a sec or something so it doesn't proc just from regular movement or something but I'm not a fan of the way potions are currently implemented.

    I like using them when you're moving into enemy territory but it's annoying in like the sharlayan map to be right on top of it at the start of the encounter trying to help burst down the point only to have a NIN or melee zoom past you from the opposing team to pick up your potion so they can then wail on you.

    Agreed. There should be away to 'destroy' potions if you can't pick them up. Sometimes I am bursting down an enemy and I am secretly hoping someone hits me so I can grab that pot over there before my target does.

    1) The potions do work like the fire orbs. The only reason you have to stand under them for a bit to pick them up is server ticks. Both are "instant pickups" otherwise.

    2) The reason you can't pick up potions at full health is most likely to prevent trolling and/or tilting your teammates by "wasting" them. The fact that it's possible to guarantee you get the potion in a 1v1 by not attacking your target is a heads-up play and I'm glad it's possible, because it's completely contrary to what you'd expect normal "optimal" play to look like and it's still the right play to make in certain circumstances.
