24 man raids are very difficult to queue even in prime time. Finally got Factory to run today because of a party finder that was about full. DF queuing seems pointless most of the time. It will get better as people level up and get closer to endgame.
Which Sophia are you on? Because the Sophia I am on has 5 min queues for everything except the most obscure content. All the servers have low hit rates for Alliance and Bozja raids, that's just how it is. The only thing that is different to the major NA/JP servers is our number of Savage teams (which is lowish but not zero). When I first started on JP servers it took me a month to get the Ivalice raids done.
There is zero problem with MSQ dungeons, I've been seeing all sorts of old Heavensward & Stormblood dungeons popping in the DF with sprouts doing that content.
We're talking Warring Triad Sophia, correct? Or is there another duty I have to check off? This should not be a difficult instance to get into at all. You can PF it though, if that truly is the case. Doesn't matter if you need a NM or EX clear. For the latter it will be more difficult to run it synced if that's your aim.
As for Omega, this might have a lot to do with queues filling up with players using jobs below level 70. This algorithm really needs to be looked at, especially considering how prominent of a role the Ivalice raids play in the main story and Bozja. I can't speak for CC, but based off of its current popularity and novelty, queues should be near instant. You might want to check your language settings, min ilvl, etc. Make sure you're not reducing your own pool.
honestly? even on NA DC these are difficult. i've have been leveling a few classes from 80-90 and I can actually count in my hand everytime I saw a nier or ivalice raid. you will mostly get Crystal Tower or Void Ark because people lower ilvl.
I believe they are talking about the Server Sophia on the oceanic datacenter.

I would really like the OP answer when they play because this might be the key.
My best current guess at the source of the "average" wait time is that it's the time that the person at the head of the queue has been waiting. If it's in a state where the queue builds to ten and then you all go in together, and it takes about five minutes for that to happen, and you're the ninth person to sign up, then that would be how you get five minutes as the estimated time.
Mostly I'm seeing "less than five minutes" as the wait time though. The genuine sort, not the "nobody else has queued in hours and you've been here less than five minutes" sort.
A sub 100 queue does not mean a full server.12 hour+ ques for Duty Finder and often for CC too!
We REALLY need help so people can actually do their MSQ stuff and side content. Its been a week and i haven't had one run for Omega, Return to Ivalace nor the Skypirate raids.
SE fix this already please? Hell combine our Duty Finder with the US one or something, ANYTHING so we can actually run content!
Also... so our server is full? But what are all these players doing? Where are they?
Im certainly not seeing them around unlike when i was on Exodus.
The problem with the Alliance raids is newer players dont have them unlocked and older players often wear crap gear so they get CT because people want path of least resistance
Ah, ok. I knew I was missing something, and haven't quite learned the names of the worlds on the new DC. So this would be a low pop problem then it seems, and should improve with time.
It would damage server health, because then everybody would get told "just region travel to NA/JP" and it would be even harder to do stuff on Materia. You want to campaign for more people making Materia their home not for everyone to move off for shorter queues.
OP posted this on Wednesday morning in Oceania. Of course you've got long queues if you're trying to get into stuff when most of our (admittedly smaller) community is at work.
