All that easy anti cheat has done for me in Elden Ring is make it impossible for me to play online if I apply a simple dll fix that would allow me to play the game on my less powerful laptop. Still encountered a few cheaters anyway, though.I haven't encountered a single anti-cheat that actually managed to stop the majority of cheaters while at the same time avoiding annoying false positives that would result in the game client closing for reasons as simple as tabbing out of the game.
They just need to expand and/or restructure their moderation teams so there aren't so many reports just slipping through the cracks in spite of painfully obvious evidence.
