I believe you can run the client from the folder where steam installed it to get non-steam version, but I'm not positiveI have two separate SE accounts. One of them is linked to Steam, and the other is a non-Steam account. (This message is entered from the non-Steam SE account.) The purchases for the non-Steam account were made without using Steam at all. The purchases for the Steam account were made with Steam.
It all works correctly, but it means I have TWO Copies of the FFXIV client installed on the PC. One in the normal location for a non-Steam install, and the other under the Steam installation.
Is there any way I can make it so that have just one copy of the client installed, and use it to access the Non-Steam account when started directly from Windows, and access the Steam account when started thru Steam?
Or am I stuck with having two copies of the client at over 60 gig each installed on my PC?
