To be fair in 2022 its much easier over voice chat to have a good time in a dungeon. Between positions and button mashing sometimes it takes away the want to chat. That has been my experience..much easier with vc. Kupo <3
Again your not wrong but how is that different from people saying "oh do dungeons with a pre-made group until u can go to bozja. Run bozja until 81 n go back to the dungeons."But that’s the thing. If NG+ gave you xp, you wouldn’t be doing the content where you are needed to help others progress it as much since the bulk of MSQ is simply talking to NPCs cutscenes.
If you are doing NG+ you should have already completed the story, and thus already reaped the benefits of progressing the story.
All it would ultimately do is turn into people working out what the absolute easiest/fastest route to cap is and grinding that over and over much like the coffee biscuits. It would turn into a “oh yeah just do Garlemald quest arc 20 times and that’s all you need to do to hit cap”
The devs need you to do your daily roulettes and raids.
It ready exist n yet people still do the duty roulette because it's the efficient way to get ur weekly tomes (which is yet another example of a commodity similar to XP). You get tomes from being max lvl n running POTD, HOH, PVP, and Daily Roulettes. Not saying NG+ should give tombstones btw. And besides u still have to que for trials n any raid NG+ u do.

Because Bozja needs bodies, many of them, to function.
Doing the solo Thancred mission (for example) 20 times or whatever solo MSQ is not helping anyone else.
The only thing you could compare this to is PotD or HoH solo, but even there is some risk of failure, whereas skipping a cutscene is just a few clicks for essentially mountains of xp.
Not to mention you would just make the game UBER bot-able, more than it is.

As someone who does Bozja during inactive hours and often has instances alone I can 100% confirm u do not need people for it to function.
In order to go to the thancred solo mission u have to do 1 dungeon, 2 starting zones, and many other little things that in short would make lvling this way (with a 50% xp downgrade from ur 1st go through) way less efficient than doing what's already a lvling route.
No because that would invalidate all other avenues of exp gain for rewards if you could just MSQ grind over and over again with your alt jobs.

You are saying you can do the special boss-fates and dungeon raids of Bozja, solo?As someone who does Bozja during inactive hours and often has instances alone I can 100% confirm u do not need people for it to function.

Thancred was an example, I have no idea where it is in NG+, but how about this instead:
NG+ for beginning of EW, do cutscenes/get xp for first 3-5 quests until the first actual “work” is needed, abandon it and restart again and again.
It’s an easily exploitable idea. You should be doing the NG+ for the reason it was intended, enjoying the story. That’s the reward.

They're hardly double downing on anything. Playing solo is completely optional.
Ah sorry to hear that. If you're new to stuff just tell them to take it slow and they won't bother most of the time. When I started playing I had alot of encounters like that.I don't know if it's social issue or just people tuning everything off when they start doing things just for rewards. Me? Not exactly a social butterfly and also someone who joined the game on their own without even an option of having a friend to do stuff with. And a bitter Vet from games like EVE where your typical Player Interaction devolves into both sides trying to take advantage of one another. But yeah I generally prefer to do stuff with other players but at the same time... That kinda ruined Praetorium for me at the time when it was my grand finale. Failed to keep up with others and was just tad to slow to get onto elevator... Ended up staying there for half the run before they reached Nero. Not exactly what I'd call good experience of final piece of first chapter of the story. On that front I appreciate Duty Support and Thrusts. They let me take it on my pace without fear of being bashed because I held party back by watching a cutscene in a new Dungeon (and yes that also did happen to me once or twice, party wiped because welp... I was a Healer xD)

I guess good for you, but that is certainly not what the devs have intended for it. Sounds like an awful time to me.
Anyway, final word on it: Strongly disagree, bad idea and glad the devs agree by not rewarding xp for NG+
