Didn't we get that animation in the MOnster Hunter Crossover? No, I'm not asking for faster cast, or really anything different to be made about it mechanically. But my Monster Hunter blood is desperately crying for there to be a potion chugging animation during those 4.5 seconds, bonus point if you actually include the FLEX or make it just be a flash of green when the character just smashes something on his face!
I'm sure that the butt-scratching of healing will be in my mind for the rest of time, I will never forget you butt-scratching. But given what you've done with the Map Reading animation, can the cast of Standard Elixir animation be an actual elixir and the WoL just chugging that boy as fast as he can? It doesn't even have to be anything super fancy, just the guy pulling a potion out of his back pouch, drinking it and maybe wiping his face or throwing the bottle away.
Yup, I tried timing the Monster Hunter Mega Potion animation just now and it's between 3 and 4 seconds and it looks sped up. If you just use THAT animation, just time it to finish is 4.5 seconds you'd have a good enough drinking animation without doing much work.
Although it wouldn't do much in the name of play clarity, you kind of want the animation of "It's done" to be different than just the cast. In there, there is a green flash of healing when it heals you so you could probably do that, but you COULD just straight up give is the potion FLEX that they use in MH... Or, I dunno, throw a /determined for a more FF animation. Just something to indicate that your cast is done, you can move now.
But really just the Mega Potion animation would be better than just butt-scratching. It's such a long butt-scartching animation too...
