Seeing multi-account FCs own so many houses makes me wonder if this kind of things isn't an issue on JP servers. It also makes me wonder how much of the other languages' forum feedback gets forward to the devs, as this kind of activity has been reported a few times now. :B
I mean, the dev team didn't take care of RTM-tell bots until Yoshi-P was personally spammed while doing an NA/EU server tour at the end of HW even though the EN forums had plenty of threads about it. >x>

You would be suprised how many JP Players are owning multiple Solo FCsSeeing multi-account FCs own so many houses makes me wonder if this kind of things isn't an issue on JP servers. And as long as its within the TOS (e.g. transferring FC Lead) there is nothing they will do because the system works technically as intended. (even if we call it wrong, flawed or whatever)
It's not "wrong" so much as it causes a huge issue in an already flawed system. You would be suprised how many JP Players are owning multiple Solo FCsIts not an NA/EU only thing. You have one person/group owning multiple houses in a game that advertises housing as a selling point even though it's in extremely limited supply, making it almost impossible for new and even veteran players to get one and not out of actual economic cost or challenge. FC houses also have economic advantages like cross-breeding gardens (granted, so do personal homes) and the workshops (voyages being real moneymakers once you get started).
I would be interested to hear an economist's thoughts on our housing system and its exploits.

good news
From Apr. 20 at 14:30 (GMT) / 15:30 (BST) / Apr. 21 at 0:30 (AEST), emergency maintenance will take place on residential areas on all Worlds.
During this period, affected areas will be unavailable.
The maintenance end time is currently undetermined. See the News section for more details.
I think that for fc housing only 1 bid per fc, and personal housing 1 bid per cycle per service account.

I'll guarantee you more than a handful were aquired through bots and will eventually find themselves onto sites selling houses for real world money. Depending on what you're looking for it'll be a couple hundred dollars up to $1400. Every single person on here knows there are people who sell FC for money, heck Im sure the devs know it as well but since individuals buying up multiple wards for the same clan isn't strictly against the TOS and its not exactly easy to prove they're only buying them to sell them then its pretty hard for them to do anything about it. "We know but we just cant prove it".

this 0 bug confuses me , if they are saying that the game couldn't relay the data to the server, so the server sent back there were no participants to the player. so how did Goblet ward 2 with all the RMT FC not get affected as well . we know RMT bot use hack to fly under the ground, I wonder if there hacking the housing market too . not that they need to try. but it does confuses me the Goblet ward 2 success rate on all the servers
still wait after maintenance reset .. but still no change ..wait for a letter , for what now

Jeez, if this person wanted to make that much money from airships they should have kept under the radar and didn't make it the same tag every house. At this point its just a foolish powerplay that will piss off the server. Id love to be one house that actually got into that ward before they did, just so they can't have that one house. Someone should do it.
Every server.
EDIT: These are not the same accounts that were caught botting under the map, it does seem this is actually just a player creating FC's and placing level 1 accounts as the FC leader and buying up an entire ward.
In a sense this is not against ToS, but it certainly is a negative impact on the game and should be stopped immediately.
The only reason for doing this is:
1) Resale of FC housing later when housing become scarce - Against ToS
2) Abusing FC Missions (Submersible/airship) for massive GIL income - Not against ToS unless used to RMT.
3) A greedy player attempting to negatively impact the game by hoarding houses that will not be used.
(Just a note for the few on Materia specifically who are upset at this [I'm not] have you reported this player to the STF? Bottom of this page and choose report other violation in the drop down. Keep your language very simple, unemotional, and polite as Japanese people will be trying to read it - it likely won't get anywhere, but if you havn't done that you are just peeing into the wind on the forums)
The bug didn't happen 100% of the time, there was some factor that let some bids happen and make others fail. Something in the communications or handshaking between the two different servers that dropped it to happen 33% to 40% of the time.
So, if he bid on the whole ward. He only got 16-20 plots in each and 10-14 (approximately 1/3 of plots) ended up with zero winning. It would look around the same, maybe a bit worse, if real people had of concentrated on a ward too and hit each house.
When the problem is solved and they can buy them - like you and me can buy ours - then it could be 100% of a ward, five times over.
