I am in Tonberry, mate xD I know the JP has the passion for PVP as well. Which is why I hope Yoshi P will eventually make changes to their patches cycles to account for PVP fluctuations.

I climbed straight to Platinum playing nothing but BLM before swapping out for something more consistent to keep climbing. It's hardly unplayable/nonviable. It's not a joke job or an auto-loss.

It also doesn't need a massive overhaul. The biggest problem with BLM right now is that its damage option isn't competitive with its CC option,
so if your team either won't capitalize on your roots or simply lacks damage overall, you'd be better off as virtually any other job.
The Fire DoT needs to increase in potency with stacks, not duration. This is a burst game. A 3k potency dot is never going to compete with a 4s root, no matter how long it lasts.

yea you get it, but the biggest issue is in moba games the support roll has defensive abilities to make up for lack of power. Right now you saying that blm is in good place.... Rank is down to luck btw there are bronze players better than plat 100% but haven't had a lucky streak.

I didn't say BLM is in a good place. I wouldn't be suggesting a fix if it was.
I said it's not an auto-loss. You're apologizing for playing BLM. That's silly. You can win plenty of matches with BLM.
It's simply inconsistent because its strength is CC and you can't guarantee that you'll be on a team that can or will take advantage of it.
If a BLM could choose between damage or CC, it would be in a good place.

DRK is also pretty bad in comparison to all other tanks, but I kind of like being the annoying dead weight holding the crystal for 10-15 seconds.
