As someone who still plays GW2 with over half my 30+ characters as Charr, Charr are nearly heavily abused by the GW2 design team just slapping overstretched armors on them as opposed to tailoring them properly.

They have an obvious preference for Human/Norn/Sylvari(and to lesser extent Asura) and leave Charr armor and the resulting horrendous body/size clipping issues as an afterthought.

I feel for Hrothgar(and Viera) players here. I really do. The dev team needs to take some time aside to fix Viera and Hrothgar, content be damned if you can't play fashion properly.

Lol, Asura is just Charr in reverse, where they shrink it instead of stretching it. Sure, it works a little better than Charr since the body shape is similiar, but it's not good at all. And Norn (specifically and especially males) suffer as much from stretching as Charr do.

Which is to say, humans are the beloved children while the lesser being that the rest are just have to deal with neglect.

Asura don't have the clipping issues aside from their three toed feet either being confined or not-- and lack of nice new faces of late.

Norn are just big humans. Now if you're speaking of maxed beef male norn, you may have a point...
