You're correct, at least to a point. But more than a few things have gone unaddressed in an acceptable way (or unaddressed entirely) for years now. We've tried being nice. We've tried offering honey instead of vinegar. That hasn't worked, so...what choice do we have other than to be a bit angry about it? Obviously some are taking it too far, and that's not okay, but neither is how we are being treated as customers. It has gone from "Hey guys, it would be nice if..." to "Um, can you guys do something about this?" to "DEAR LORD, HEAR US!"

You can try using google translate to post it on the JP forums since they appear to read those more than they read the EN forums.

I've heard that plenty of the criticism here on the English forums is already present on the Japanese forums. Apparently, the Japanese audience and the Western audience aren't that different when it comes to providing feedback for the game.

For me personally, it is not a matter of defending anyone or anything but simply put calling people lazy or incompetent, or stating that they should be fired is not conducive to a productive conversation or debate.

Also, I've seen tons of complaints about matters that aren't even true (like accusing SE of giving us less glamours each expansion, which is a false claim). This gives me the feeling that many people just want to complain for the sake of it. Of course I am going to defend SE when facts are getting twisted, or people are acting too entitled with their demands.

You have been proven time and time again that we are getting less. Everytime someone points it out to you with proof, you go silent. You then proceed to make a post like this one spouting incorrect things. Just off the top of my head, we got no level 89 dungeon gear this expansion, which has never happened in any other expansion. We got no unique tataru glam last expansion or this expansion(the one this expansion is just a reused set.) We didn’t get a unique pvp set of wolf mark gear like we have gotten every other expansion this patch, the set we got is all reused job gear.

Yeah, I've been reading the Japanese forums lately. The audience there does not call developers idiots, or incompetent. There are few enough ways to vent in Japanese without turning a post into a definite threat.

Take the recent changes to Samurai. What will you find? Comments like "If it doesn't serve some future purpose of which we are unaware, could you please revert the changes made in 6.1 to Samurai back to the 6.08 version?". There are no comments like "Give me Kaitan or I'll commit suicide!" (A paraphrase of an actual thread on the forums.

Differences in tone produce differences in content.

To be fair, they don't really have much of a choice but to try to be on our (the customer) side. The moment the customer is no longer on their side, the game's earning potential will suffer.
