As someone who lost their lottery bid to a real person I too just want another shot at the next one! XD
But we've waited months (or years in some ways) for this, we can wait a couple more weeks.
The translated page literally tells you that their ARE winners on the 0'd plots. And that they need to merge that info with the other housing lotto system so that the proper info is displayed so that the winners can be notified. It's all on the JP page. They will not be starting the new lotto until the previously 0'd out people are taken care of.
Considering I didn't lose to the 0 bug, it didn't affect me at all and I wouldn't mind a second go around with it.
I'm just more disappointed that my chances of getting a house go exponentially down with every lottery because there's so few houses opening up and there'll be 200 entries for the single house that opens up eventually.
I see it around a week until it's restarted. They said it would take them 2-3 days barring any issues that come up compiling all the data together and making a fix to push out in a maintenance patch. To which after that it's just a matter of the 0'd out winner actually claiming the plot.
Oh it's going to suck now with the few houses that open up cause so many will bid on them. Ultimately the solution lies with more supply. The ward additions are not going to satisfy the people who want houses they need to look at other avenues to address the demand.Considering I didn't lose to the 0 bug, it didn't affect me at all and I wouldn't mind a second go around with it.

Transparent, sure. I appreciate that. But it shouldn't have happened in the first place. And housing shouldn't be in the state it's currently in and has been for years. They can say "sorry about that" or "my bad" all they want, but it doesn't fix anything. Actions speak louder than words.
I'm expecting, that Island Sanctuary is their solution to this as it literally serves no other purpose I can reasonably think of when such a glaring housing issue exists.
Probably going to look like:
Island Sanctuary -> Instanced Housing only player can visit. (Free) (Clue for this being the aspect of player minions being available to interact with.)
Wards-> Housing / FC Housing anyone can visit (Not Free) (limited)
Because bugs happen. The game isn't perfect. The devs aren't perfect. And yeah they need to address the supply. Perhaps now they have real numbers seeing how many people bid and actually want housing and will do something about it. Adding a housing district every 2 years and some additional wards isn't going to fix the problem.Transparent, sure. I appreciate that. But it shouldn't have happened in the first place. They've always had the numbers. But since 2.1 Yoshi has addressed and stated that housing is still primarily for FC's. It benefits them the most.
