I mean, considering they say that a fix will be implemented later and that for now they need to figure out what's up, that's really all you're going to get I'm afraid.

I am a zero 1 entry bidder and my excitement grows by the day. I know now that I will get the house I've dreamed of. Going to be in the workshop hammering out exteriors

Keep the excitement in caution, as easy it is for someone like me to take it that way (especially when my FC members were the only one to roll on a mansion!), we still do not know what the fix they'll be implementing is. Remain hopeful, but don't let excitement crush you.

As an alternative nice gesture, I'd be happy if they dropped the FC only ward restrictions. Materia really doesn't need them.

Materia still has entire private wards with no applicants. We have so much space for new people it's insane. Could fit an entire FC into the private wards.

If people in NA are housing enthusiasts, more than raiders, it's actually a great time to get a house here, get in on the ground floor and take a large or medium in Mist, or Lavender Beds, or Shirogane, or Goblet (except Goblet 2, that's full), or Snowy Goblet.

Ping isn't bad, we did it the other way for a decade, and the people are really nice! You don't even have to bring your main over. Have all the decorating fun you desire on an alt.

Either make or alt and transfer your main if you are ready to commit. We have an unfortunate amount of people sitting on the fence about transferring, and seeing more people come would go a long way to alleviate the housing demand and supply on both sides. It would be nice to have some shorter queue times (not super bad, but not great either). But we do help each other out a lot with clearing content because we know we have to help each other to make up for our low population. Even at 4am AEST you can find people to help, just need to pay it forward and help out others. OCE is definitely growing, and we'd love to see more people join us.

I'm definitely on the fence of transferring my main. I'm very passionate about housing, but I'm also pretty passionate about my friends, and they certainly wouldn't come with me.

I am sorry to break it to you but if you think that you will get your house after the occurence of this bug you are absolutely mistaken. There was also a problem once where people LOST their houses to a bug that said that they did not enter their house for 40 days even though they did. They did not get their houses back either. You will have to bid again and pray to RNG.

That said, i hope im wrong.
