And I'm still upset about that losing to 0 although or because I was the only one who placed a bid...? Maybe being the only one who placed a bid favored that bs to happen.

I saw it. And it made my jaw drop. So many of us lost to a non existent number. So many of those I've talked to only had the money to get one ticket to finally get a home for their FC or relocate to a bigger one after months of saving money. And then we see those obvious alt FCs who claim half a ward? How can this happen,that they are able to win so many plots while so many other gamers didn't even get a actually guaranteed place for their FC house?
Also I noticed that all the Wards from 19 - 24 on my Server have only 4 free places per Ward and subdivision, where the private houses are located.

This would tell me among other things that these plots over multiple servers escaped the 0 bug, i wonder how many they would have if it didnt bug.

Most likely the same amount. The houses not purchases were smalls in the majority case. All mediums and larges were bought up. And since I couldn't reply to the other guy last night because the forums decided I had responded enough for the day

This is fair according to SE and the ToS. Technically. All those purchases are from different service accounts. All with different FC's (same tag, different FC's). So by ToS and SE they are all paying accounts and did nothing wrong. Fun fact. YES, they DID fix it. But that was BEFORE the lottery system. The Lottery system gives people these loopholes back to do this kind of thing. And hardly anybody thought about that. You might have hated fighting against 4-5 Macro users before. But this is what this new lotto system gives you. Wards like have been posted. Hooray.

(Well it gives you that and no quality assurance check on a new system that hands out multiple 0's to people who should have won guaranteed. Like my FC that had 4 bids on a Large with nobody else bidding and it 0'd) But hey. Don't forget AGAIN people. They also have Yoshi working on XVI. But nothing will suffer in XIV :^)

I just hope they soon let us know at least something about what will happen next. It really dulls my mood to play Final Fantasy XIV currently, knowing that without that Bug I'd be decorating our M FC house. And now I'm just waiting on news from the Devs, spending my time with standing around online and sometimes push myself to run a dungeon to level some classes.

I just hope they soon let us know at least something about what will happen next. It really dulls my mood to play Final Fantasy XIV currently, knowing that without that Bug I'd be decorating our M FC house. And now I'm just waiting on news from the Devs, spending my time with standing around online and sometimes push myself to run a dungeon to level some classes.

And it may seem petty and like "touch grass" to say that. But i've waited for Ishgard housing since they talked about it in HW. And HW means a lot to me as far as a time in the game goes. Lot of sentimental reasoning behind wanting to be in that area for me.

Ya.... my FC was saving for 6 months at least, maybe longer. for a M plot. This was such a kick in the face that no ones even logged on since they saw the results because it was that disheartening. 6 of us were the only bidders on one plot, and we all lost to zero.

Are you certain there's a separate service account for each of those houses? Because it's definitely possible to get multiple houses per service account even now. The "character owns as buyer" restriction creates a big loophole that wouldn't exist if the restriction was "account owns as buyer".

You potentially could get 2 on the same service account in the same lottery period without involving any other service accounts, then one additional house per month for the next 3 months (or however long depending on RNG) for a total of 5 FC houses on the same world and service account. Increasing the number of service accounts used to fill the FC roster increases the number you can get on a single service account within a single lottery period. The 30 day waiting period is an annoyance, not an obstacle.

Yes. I am certain. It's typical seller technique. He made a bunch of alt accounts and bought up all the land to later sell the accounts. Just go and look into the FC's and Tags from those servers on Lodestone.
