Housing Bug Compensate

Hi,

I have been saving money since January to buy a little house, finally I saved enough all by myself by doing crafting and gathering jobs and I made a bid for my very first house. But the whole housing bug screwed me up so much and I was so disappointed and upset yesterday when I found out it affected me and I could not get the house even though I was the only bidder....

So now I am so nervous that the Dev team will just ignore all of us who lost out and brush over the whole thing by not acknowledging our rightful house and our win.

Please FFXIV Dev team, correct this by giving the house to the people who made all the effort the first time round, because it is our right and we don't deserve to be ignored, please find out who all the people who are affected by this bug is and give them their house, DO NOT just roll over to the new lottery and hurt so much of us.

Because we should not be punished for the mistake of the Dev team.

I have been playing since the very beginning of FFXIV, please DO NOT disappoint and hurt us.....I need a home....

I just hope they do the right thing, I am so upset to the point that I did not want to play the game after I found out about the bug and their response which has no mention on how to deal with players who did everything right and affected and lost out.....so now I am lost

They most likely won't. If you can see their focus, they're more worried about emote pronouns than fixing actual balancing systems like housing lottery. I want to stop playing simply because my favorite race (Viera) can't even wear any headgear. They've been in the game nearly 3 years and these idiots really just added a new outfit I can't use. Nice one, Square Enix! You don't deserve the success you're getting sitting on your ass. <3

@sagacious Namely in my case, the entirety of the glamour system! It's AWFUL! It's a petty gripe, I know, but fashion is important to me.

The problem is so many affected players unknowingly claimed the money back, but this is not their mistake and they cannot know the bug was there at the time and FFXIV has to address this. They have to have some balls and give the house to their rightful owner!!! I am so frustrated...when can FFXVI give up some answers on how they will dev with affected players?

I think its time we got an update, we are going on 24hrs now since this all went down, yes i know these things take time but gee what a kick in the ass.
I myself was the the only bidder on a private and my friend bid on a FC house for us and was the only bidder so we won both.
I love to be decorating or at least have it confirmed that we are getting the houses so i can start to plan, ive gone from googling house ideas to just numb.

What's more annoying is i had a house on kujata, gave it up to move to oceanic, then had to wait 4 months to even have a chance at a house.
Constantly check the release date, worrying about the lotto, i even stood on the plot for hours before the lotto finish to maybe silently persuade people from bidding.

For me 50% of the game is housing, its honestly starting to give me anxiety.
