Keep hearing MMORPG these days are getting less and less MMO and more of a single-player especially in FFXIV and yet you guys keep asking for instanced housing which makes it even less MMORPG.

An upgrade for Apartments would be nice, a second Room for 500.000 Gil more and a Balcony for some Gardening for 500.000 Gil more. Win / Win for all. It would be a Gil Sink. Houses would be still there but lesser Players who gets kicked in the Face for not getting an House.

Some of the oldest MMORPGs had better systems than this one. I'm not sure where you're going with this. Many MMOs have instanced housing.

Everquest (launched in 1999) had neighborhood housing like FFXIV and when each neighborhood was filled a new one would be created. When it became completely vacant it would be destroyed.

They got it right all the way back in 1999. Can you believe it?

Houses in EQ are broken up into neighborhoods . Neighborhoods are instanced zones that contain sets of player-owned plots. Currently we have one type of neighborhood that contains 71 plots.
As each neighborhood fills up, more will spawn. Each has a unique name. If any neighborhoods empty out completely, they will be shut down.

I in particulary have to agree with this, I'm not sure what was the idea behind forcing people to go to the plot they just lost, as the winner is there building his house and decorating, and you have to take a walk of shame to come pick up your gil right in front of it, it encourages toxicity and is just ridiculous to have to deal with after the frustration of losing a house.

As for the rest, I agree as well.

I won my house, but waited to decorate until the early evening, so that people who bet on my property wouldn't have to stare at my plot in even more horror.
