I mean there is nothing holding you back from going back to the "don't you guys have phones" gaming company. I bet you will enjoy your stay there.
    Huh?

Yoshi-P was on record for quite some time dismissing the idea of male viera as 'weird' and although there's no concrete proof, it can be reasoned that he originally hoped that he could get away with adding two gender locked races. It was only in response to the backlash that male viera were added and even then they've been plagued by issues such as being unable to use many hairstyles and glamour options.

To say nothing of the situation Hrothgar face.

    From the interview in question:

It's good that he added them, though they were only added in response to criticism and it's his job to deduce what is and isn't a beneficial addition to the game. Personally I still think WoW has a broader range of playable races overall to suit a greater number of personal tastes. I miss some of the playable options, to be honest.

Thing is OP compared Yoshi P. to someone who clearly never listened to his community. While playing a race that is literally proof of Yoshi P. and the dev team listening to the community.

And yes the dev team isn't perfect, clearly. Alone the fact that with the new hrothgar haircuts Endwalker turned into Wigwalker is really sad.

But i think we aren't quite there yet at the dismissing your community cubicle crawling alcoholic level of devs that drive their own female workers into suicide and letting all this happening by turning blind eyes on everything while only pushing out shit for the players.

This situation is also the communities fault at the end of the day cause they created these exaggerated standards to which SE now has to live up. FFXIV clearly isn't perfect and there are many flaws like the absence of something so simple as a glam log and the housing crisis and content that is getting cut from the game clearly. But dragging the devs that much through the mud while playing something that is only possible cause the devs actually listened to their players is quite hilarious to me.
