This was to be expected, most of fc wards in Ishgard in particular will just stay empty because 18 wards is absolutely overkill even on populated servers, in the meantime personal wards are getting absolutely hammered with tickets on every single plot available, very fair system indeed...

Out of all the new plots that came out after the lottery, maybe 5% are personal wards, at most 10%, everything else is FC ward, and of course the best plots are FC ward as well.

There is no time needed to see that there is absolutely no need for 18 FC wards, more than half of those houses are absolutely empty, if not 70% of them. It doesnt take an engineer to see that. The numbers should have been the opposite, 18 wards for personal and 6 for fc, or something more even like 12/12.

Give it time? We've been waiting for "enough" housing for 10 years, and waiting on the new neighborhood to open for over 2 years. I'm done waiting. The amsrt move here is to dump this game. The devs obvious give zero shits about anything anymore.

Yeah, they'll adjust it just in time for the 30-day barrier to end and all the shell FC's to buy their totally-not-personal houses. Fixing absolutely nothing.

Maybe they could've used their heads for something other than a hat rack and realized they don't need over a thousand new plots for Free Companies only.

Also, I did wait. All the way back when they started teasing Ishgard housing - only to get told last minute "Btw you get to pick from 5 wards lol".

Plus, it's not like the wards need to be filled to the brim after the first round of lotteries.

When personal houses are getting absolutely hammered down by tickets ? Yes they do need to be filled, otherwise they are not needed and they should be given for personal owners who are all struggling to get a house, even more with this sytem.

except if people bid on the lots, they should have a winner, thats the whole point of the system is it not? thatd be like with the old system if someone tried to buy a plot, and it just took your gil, and still let someone else buy the plot, point is, even if the system did work as intended, there would be zero plots for this supposed "round 2" of lottery, except maybe if people were relocating, and even then itd be a handful of lots here and there and mostly smalls, so any looking for medium and large would be, well, largely out of luck

i agree with what someone earlier posted, they should of reversed it, or split it 12/12, and why dont we have more wards added to the current zones? that would help as well
