I'm fine with not having the original Nier Flight unit when we have Gabriel which has very similar theme and design, this is icing on the cake.

My best guess is that they looked what hairstyles are popular for the other races and then decided to put them on Viera and Hrothgar, too. (They got the same hairstyles after all. Which could also mean we could get Rainmaker next... but likely still earless.) What they didn't bother with is doublechecking if those hairstyles actually look good/work well with the heads of Hrothgar. Both aesthetically and practically, considering one or two cuts leave empty space on the hairline on Hrothgar or have an unnatural high hairline on Viera. (Visibly floating hair like this should not pass the QA in my opinion.)
Then again I am not entirely sure if 2B and 9S hair is actually popular, I suppose that depends on the server, but a great number of people likely unlocked them eventually once they dropped from the Shb raid.

It's all about priorities, and it seems like Hrothgar players aren't one.
In due time?.... The time shows that it's overdue.

Another year or two? Hell no, this needs to change next patch. Delay other things so they can focus on this. We waited 3 years.
People would have been happy if they just made the already exclusive styles available on all faces and a new exclusive hairstyle would have been a bonus.
It's weird how they picked the most unfitting hairstyles too.
That's not an option. It's entirely unreasonable and unfeasible to expect them to focus on Hrothgar customization when they're on tight enough deadlines on DC travel, Ultimates, MSQ, and Island Sanctuary. I'm willing to say I'd be willing to sacrifice any of that for hair. It's unfortunate, but that's the nature of their manpower and resources.Another year or two? Smol indie company plz look forward to it.That's not an option. How to say you don't know a thing about how the development process of things without saying you don't know a thing about the development process of things.
There aren't people just sitting around to be thrown at this relatively low priority project. They have MSQ, Ultimates, raids, extremes, DC Travel, Island Sanctuary, armor and weapons for ALL that, mounts, minions, and whatever else they have in the works. They can't just hop from one thing to another carelessly or quality AND productivity would drop drastically.
Your statement comes from a place of ignorance and misunderstanding, so don't parade it around. It's embarrassing.

Hi, I know stuff about the general game dev process and while I know the company can not snap with the finger and do some magic and suddenly all works, it still makes a difference. Simply because, unlike a smol indie company they can hire more people (and they are actively recruiting right now). They can invest more money into research if they don't know how to handle a problem. They can check how other games manage this. And work on much better equipment. Saying "they have a lot to do, of which a lot of stuff doesn't even require the department for 3D art and rigging and all" is in itself pretty ignorant. We are talking about a game that was too successful for its own good, a game that had to stop sales during a content draught for heaven's sake. Yes, it does make a difference if we're talking about a smol indie company or the dev studio of a huge rich company. How to say you don't know a thing about how the development process of things without saying you don't know a thing about the development process of things.

The only thing that truly stops them in making this possible, is themselves, and giving this topic a priority that is below cpose options for fashion items. Some people act like we're all just throwing a tantrum about the devs not adding the sidiest side content, like a new cheese-themed map for the Leap of Faith or adding a Triple Triad Card for Donald Duck. We're talking about the main character in a game where the story is the huge selling point, and where you look at your own character from various angles in almost every possible cutscene. Including the content you listed above. If it is such a low priority that throwing wigs at us and removing the ears in such a buggy way that they still show at times in the character editor after three years is the best they can do, then the first step should be making it a bigger priority. Get it out of the niche content and make it a point on the to do list among the others, not the afterthought that it has been since release. There is no good reason for letting this slide and hiding behind excuses about technical limits. They have the money and if they want the manpower to adjust these technical limits. What they need is the motivation to do so.
