I'm sorry but they blatantly ignored 3 years of discussion around Viera and Hroths and then tried to pass it off as us needing to suddenly participate here more despite the fact we already were.
You don't even need the forums to know housing was an issue.

I'm personally very happy to see the additions to Viera. It was a long wait but the hairstyles we're getting now are great. We got 12 new ones in the xpac release and with 6.1. That's not to say what they've done with Hroths is a good decision. I think they seriously need to rethink what they've done and fix it. They seem to have acknowledged the uproar although the question is what will they do and how long will it take.
Yeah, and we see just how well THAT worked out... If they paid attention to the forums they'd have seen us calling them out on their utter refusal to invest in the storage space required to give everyone a shot at a house, which is their job if they're going to offer housing at all. You can't just provide enough housing for the lucky ones and expect no lash back. The fact that they changed the system WOULD have been meaningful if the system wasn't just still covering up the fact that they STILL can't provide a house for everyone who can afford one. We, as consumers, do not have to be understanding or patient at all. This is a problem that's over ten years old, and they're still cutting corners and refusing to invest in enough storage space. But sure, they read this stuff.
Considering you either competed with a dozen+ players actively by spamming the placard for 48 hours, or the current system where you just roll the dice against them, I'd take a roll of the dice every time. In that way, I'd call this an improvement.
It's just unfortunate that a GROSS technical oversight made it past their QA.
