I still don't get why people care that the hair clips in most MMOs. It's not like you're staring at it in the middle of battle, or all the time.

But I feel like things clip all the time. Whether it be hairstlyes, gear, capes, tails, etc. Honestly, at times it feels like they've doubled down on trying to find ways to clip even more things. I don't see why they'd be so fussed now over some ears clipping, or whatever the issue is.

tell that to every caster since they phased out wands.

literally every hood, even class-specific ones, clips through just about every caster's weapon. glamming a whm, ast or blm is a lesson in just how much clipping are you willing to tolerate.

As an AST main, I can attest to that. But personally, I don't care about clipping, I expect things to clip in an MMO since it doesn't have the hardware and graphics engine of a AAA title.

it isn't if you or any other player cares or not, it's just that we've been given many excuses including one that implied clipping was the reason why hroths were so lacking in headgear/customization

it's just a ridiculous excuse when clipping exists in so many other parts of the game.

I already mentioned it, but during a big scene in Endwalker, Venat's hair just clips all over the place. Honestly in all her scenes her hair clips.
