While it may not be a bug, it's poor form to have retainers bring it back on quick-ventures, since the only options are discard to eat inventory space. It's a waste of an in-game currency that has limited resources of being obtained (retainer ventures - come from GC seals and beast tribes... we can't even spend gil to buy more). At minimum, it should be removed from the loot table on quick-ventures until other options are available for it.
