Hmm, they might mean; when you go to collect your losing entry, you see the winner's name on the placard.
But that's what we had with clicking too. We saw the winners name pop up on the placard, and I was fine with that - quick check they are not AFK then a huge congratulations, cheers, clapping, and popping off a bottle of champagne.
A few times, I even gave the winner a 500,000 house warming gift if they were friendly and had been with the group traveling placard to placard.
Why can’t it be like that? Lotto time about to end, ppl gather and wish each other luck with a little celebration when the winner is declared? You were all in it with equal chance, wanting the same thing. Don’t have to give Gil but the rest sounds pretty funky.
I don't see why it can't be like this. Congratulate the winner, move on with your day after you collect the gil from your losing ticket.
I had a good experience on my server. I'd been sitting at the placard alone (I'm in the US playing on a JP server, so 13 hours difference) clicking for a while when a guy comes up and we chat a bit, wish each other luck, and continue clicking. After a few more hours I stepped away for a drink and bio and when I came back he'd won. We had a few moments of congratulatory/celebratory emotes and things then I went on my way. It does happen, if perhaps not super frequently.
