They put the lock on the lotto to keep people from purposely inflating the lottery entries on plots only to withdraw those entries at the last moment to increase their friends chances.

Yes, we asked for the lottery. We didn't ask for the division of wards into FC-only and Personal. That was a decision by the devs that is frankly a pile of goobue dung.

Splitting wards into FC only and personal only actually has been requested several times over the years in this subforum.

It's also only a temporary issue for Empyreum. The other housing districts already have mixed plot owners and will continue to have mixed plot owners. Empyreum will get there eventually but it will take several months as SE changes the assigned ward types on occasion.

The plot was never promised to you so how is it a slap in the face? The chances that you'll even see the owner are pretty slim unless you sit there camping the plot for that purpose. I don't recommend that.

Also remember that other players are not the enemy. They are not the ones responsible for the system design. They have to go through the same process that you are with the same small chance of getting lucky.

Honestly...I agree. No one should have to make their walk of defeat to a plot they lost just to claim their gil. It should be sent by mail or something.
