What part of "There is no such thing in this game, nor should anyone be advocating for it." did you not understand?
Well, personally it made me laughed, no need to be this serious we all got what this post was about no ? If it's not your taste, you can still go read another thread.. one thing that could make this post look bad is how boring you've been in your replies and you reporting the thread for no reason but your own taste for jokes, i'm sorry

What part of "It was a joke" did you not understand? He's explained that it was a joke, and a riff on the phrase "Give me Liberty or give me death." If you continue this, you're going to keep going round in circles, so I suggest backing off and letting it be. You've made your point, you've done your report and if the moderators agree with you, the thread'll be deleted. If not, you'll just have to get off your high horse and deal with it.
Hate to break it to you, but there's concepts known as subjectivity and diversity of opinion. Some people like dark humour like the OP, and some take offense to it like you're doing now. You can butt heads all you like but neither of you are going to change the other's mind. Now if we could get back to critiquing the new SAM changes that'd be suuuuuuper!

I'll advocate for it if someone has to. I'd rather my SAM fell on her sword and went out with some honour and dignity rather than living with the shame of not having Kaiten.
There, I've done it.
*FOR LEGAL REASONS, THIS WAS A JOKE. A JAPE. A JEST. A QUIP. A WITTICISM. A WISECRACK AND/OR A GAG.*
What part of "I'm not actually advocating for the dev team to implement ritualistic suicide - I thought that would be obvious - I'm merely saying that the 6.1 changes to samurai are egregious enough that if I could reset to level 50 as a means to protest them, I would." did you not understand?
Your "response" to what you quoted doesn't address the quote at all - it serves only to distract from me pointing out that you're either a liar or a hypocrite.

He's someone who thinks he becomes a good person by being offended on behalf of the Japanese, who in his world, don't have a sense of humor and break down over wordplay, despite using wordplay all the time. He wanted good boy points, got a reality check. What part of "I'm not actually advocating for the dev team to implement ritualistic suicide - I thought that would be obvious - I'm merely saying that the 6.1 changes to samurai are egregious enough that if I could reset to level 50 as a means to protest them, I would." did you not understand?

Also, we had Stormblood; they understand the concept of 'liberty or death.' It was kinda introduced along with the Samurai in the game. They would get the joke, ffs.

Probably worth mentioning that the MSQ also has literal suicide in it, and he's not advocating for Square to throw in trigger warnings and outright remove that part from the story. He's someone who thinks he becomes a good person by being offended on behalf of the Japanese, who in his world, don't have a sense of humor and break down over wordplay, despite using wordplay all the time. Not to mention that players can already kill themselves with a job action (blue mage) - although, again, I wasn't actually asking for that (obviously, but stating it explicitly for those who need it).
