OP does not appear to know that Seppuku is ritualistic suicide. There is no such thing in this game, nor should anyone be advocating for it.

The title is a play off "Give me liberty or give me death." - I thought that would be obvious - and between that and the hypothetical reset to level 50, I clearly know what seppuku is.

I'm not actually advocating for the dev team to implement ritualistic suicide - I thought that would be obvious - I'm merely saying that the 6.1 changes to samurai are egregious enough that if I could reset to level 50 as a means to protest them, I would.

What part of "It was a joke" did you not understand? He's explained that it was a joke, and a riff on the phrase "Give me Liberty or give me death." If you continue this, you're going to keep going round in circles, so I suggest backing off and letting it be. You've made your point, you've done your report and if the moderators agree with you, the thread'll be deleted. If not, you'll just have to get off your high horse and deal with it.

Hate to break it to you, but there's concepts known as subjectivity and diversity of opinion. Some people like dark humour like the OP, and some take offense to it like you're doing now. I'll advocate for it if someone has to. I'd rather my SAM fell on her sword and went out with some honour and dignity rather than living with the shame of not having Kaiten.
