fabulous uldah inn quest

I loved the inn quests! I love Hildibrand and his assistant (who seems to be completely taken with him).

The only thing that would make these quests better would be if the speech box appeared closer to the characters who are speaking. The "emotes" that the characters do are hilarious, but I miss them while I'm reading the box at the bottom of the screen. It might also help if some of the longer chunks of text were split up and timed to match the appropriate emote.

I'd like it if text boxes in XIV cutscenes worked more like they did in FF7. That game kept the text closer to whoever was speaking, so you knew who was talking and you could pay attention to what they were doing.

Anyway, sorry for the tangent. The inn quests make Eorzea feel more alive and interesting. I'm looking forward to more quests like these....and to more Hildibrand.

Hildibrand is one of the very few npc's that I actually remembered for 20 seconds after I finished a quest. I am hoping he shows up again! Actually, I hope we get a few more memorable NPC's that we deal with again and again.

Lol he reminds me of Armstrong from FMA.

This, it reminds of someone crossing Armstrong with Professor Layton. He even has a little cohort follow him around. These quests made me laugh

He turns up in Limsa Lomensa too but he's not *quite* as fabulous - pretty damned close though.

His Miqo'te assistant makes up for it by being even better. "The water in the big lake outside tastes funny!" Uh, that's seawater, dear.

I must say, he is quite amusing... IF there is going to be some form of Limit Break fight a la FFXI...HE NEEDS TO BE THE NEW MAAT... nothing more intimidating than seeing him waiting in the middle of an arena, making that pose....

The best one is the Ul'dah one, where you're talking to the kid and the camera moves over and shows him posing in the background XD. If he isn't in 2.0 I will be a sad panda.

I thought the Limsa one was the funniest watch the miqo'te reaction in it, had me in stitches.

The Ul'dah one was pretty awesome. I can't wait to see what they have in store for him in future quests.
