No group queue in Crystalline Conflict made all my friends uninstall :(

Interesting enough, this was the same excuse people used when they removed the ability to go into FL with an 8 man premade. There was a specific group in a discord that would organize 3 groups of 8 for FL queues and all queue as adders to get grouped together (because adders was the less popular GC). They would just stomp FL for hours and people quit the mode and just didn't play whenever the premade was on. There were complaints and asks for changes. Then when SE forced freelancer and limited premade parties to 4 they came ind rives to complain about "not being able to queue with all their friends" and about how "this is going to kill FL" and how it was ruined now. All the same arguments for CC are being made again now.



So if you are sad the premades are unavailable, blame them for ruining it because they abused it.

That issue is the fault of the developers, not the players. Square Enix didn't implement abuse prevention, so people abused it. Like I said, there are countless ways to alleviate that issue, and they took the laziest route possible by deciding to not deal with it.

Although the issue is ultimately the lack of premades-vs-premades. But then looking over at WoW even they had have had major issues maintaining the population for rated-battlegrounds which need premades and thus people have taken to demanding solo queues for it.

There's a rather simple solution to this.

Put a little check box that you can check if you're ok with letting the game fill your group for you.

If you have at least 4 players in your group then you're considered a pre-made group and well only be matched with other pre-mades.

Otherwise the game will fill the rest of your spots for you and you'll be put into the 1 - 3 group. (The solo queue if you will)

That way I can queue with 1 or 2 friends and still get 2 other solo/duo queuers. Or I can queue with 3 or 4 friends and get a pre-made queue.

Simply not being able to play with my friends in a multiplayer game feels terrible.
