Same, tbh.
The nerf doesn't do much but tighten the 'flexibility' window for using the sprint buff, at least in our current savage turns. The damage mitigation part hasn't changed at all, so it certainly isn't the end of the world as some may claim.
The problem is I don't think it's fair that scholar got nerfed. Again. And nothing given in return for Expedience's nerf either. With how much bad rep scholar gets, I find it counterintuitive to nerf it instead of buffing it.Scholar easily became the centerpiece of every group in the past expansions, it has seen nerfs since it was released in ARR. Expedience alone can decide the party composition, and the otherhealersjobs do not have expedience lol... Desperate Measures is still 20 seconds, what's the problem??
People say Expedience is too strong and overtuned, but this seems like an argument that only appeared after the nerf was announced. Anything before that seemed to be mostly calling it useful and meh. Frankly, I'm not convinced it derserved a nerf, And Desperate Measures isn't what's interesting about Expedient, and the different times will probably make it feel weird.
I wish they had treated it like Sprint and still let you have the full 20 seconds out of combat.

This.
Zooming for 40 seconds in cities and towns was fun. Even when i'm not the Scholar using it I find it a fun skill during fights (although i can see how it can come across as op to deal with certain mechanics....or... help your tank suicide on spikes bc they weren't expecting the zoomies)
I guess fun is not allowed anymore.
