Why would you doublecast curaga? You can't equally heal everyone with that plus the amount of hate you get.

Benediction is really and "oh sh*t" spell. It's really useful on Ifrit after Hellfire if enough people are close to you.

But that's the catch..."IF" they are close enough. DD are never close enough to me in the Ifrit fight (I'm on Jeff and they are other side) so it's a waste to think of using it there. I have some luck with the Moogles, but it's a scramble to run to where I think I'll hit the most people. Most of the time it misses so many I feel like it was seconds wasted I could have done something else. But I keep working with it. I like the spell; I just wish it had a better range. It's not really an "oh sh*t button" if I can't count on it.

I can cast Curaga on someone far away, so I do not need to be near them to do it (as is the case with Benediction).
