Well if you didnt have already something prepared. At least you or 3 Alts or 4 Alts which has to be in the FC for a minimum of 30 days. Once setup you can go for it.

If you are lone Ranger you can even setup 2 FCs with your own Accout. Or create even more FCs with just an 10 USD Starter Edition for an Alt-throw-away-Account (heck you can abuse this one for Gold Feathers as well with Recruit a Friend) which then can create a few more additional Alts for your "Main Account FCs". Just create them within the included free 30 days gametime and forget them after you invite them into your FCs. They will still count to the 4 people buying threshold even after not logging in after years.

why 10k? A server doesn't have so many active players and you can bet for a FC house OR a personal house.

In my opinion, if there are more than 500 players for personal house x server (tomorrow for the first lottery) is strange.
the second lottery will be different, but if you bid for a small it's almost guaranteed you win.

6.1 will bring a lot of players back. And yes there will be a lot of people entering lottery for houses, and this adds a total of 300 houses for a massive amount of people who want one, which is absolutely ridiculous.
