Lol, but no seriously, right now people are going into Darkhold all the time, due to WHM and MNK AF being in there.
SE wasn't stupid, they put the AF behind Ogre, which means, you only have to activate 4 blue circles and kill a few skeletons to finish the quest that is required to enter Aurum Vale...so no big deal.

The actual requirement is having completed “Into the Dark” and you can "do" DH including killing the end boss and NOT complete “Into the Dark”. I suggest double checking your journal!

Also, You don’t need to do a full clear of Darkhold to complete “Into the Dark”.

You need to talk with lalafel in gladiator gear after you complete DH too to activate that quest. Also you could read the patch notes, no? There is everything there you need to know.
